About Jerusalem Light

We’ve lived in Jerusalem for more than a decade.

Matt serves as a Calvary Chapel pastor in the Old City. He leads worship, teaches the Bible, and opens our home to the people God brings across our path.

Some stay for a few months. Some come for Friday night fellowship. Some are pastors visiting the city. Some are travelers looking for familiar faces in an unfamiliar place.

Jerusalem Light grew out of ordinary faithfulness. Shared meals. Open Bibles. Worship in our living room. Conversations that stretch late into the evening.

We believe discipleship happens in those moments.

Over the years, students, pastors, pilgrims, and friends from around the world have become part of our story. Some return often. Some stay in touch from afar. Many have become family.

If you find yourself in Jerusalem, we’ll leave the light on,
