Calvary Chapel in the Old City
Calvary Chapel Old City is Jerusalem Light’s Calvary Chapel congregation, meeting on Friday nights, gathering in spring and fall at Christ Church Jerusalem, near Jaffa Gate. Jerusalem Light also runs Acts 1:8 Jerusalem, our discipleship program for young adults.
Jerusalem Light gathers local believers, students, ministry partners, and visitors for Calvary Chapel Old City in the Old City.
Calvary Chapel Old City gathers for worship, Bible teaching, prayer, fellowship, and a shared meal, with the Christ-centered teaching and community of Calvary Chapel.

We are currently in our fall season, meeting until December 2026. We will then take a winter break and return in February 2027. Calvary Chapel Old City meets at 7:00 PM during our spring and fall seasons. Please check Jerusalem Light’s Facebook and Instagram for confirmed service dates before attending.

Acts 1:8 Jerusalem is our ten-week discipleship program for young adults; Calvary Chapel Old City is our Calvary Chapel congregation meeting on Friday nights for worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and fellowship.
Whether you are visiting Jerusalem for a few days or staying longer, you are welcome at our seasonal fellowship gatherings. Jerusalem Light is home to Acts 1:8 Jerusalem, our discipleship program, and Calvary Chapel Old City, our Calvary Chapel congregation meeting on Friday nights during spring and fall. We do not provide trip planning, tour arrangements, accommodation, transport, or a visitor hosting service. Please arrange your own travel and lodging. We are happy to answer an occasional question or share a suggestion when we can, as our ministry commitments allow; personal assistance and availability cannot be guaranteed.
